POSITION: Java Software Developer
DEPARTMENT: Research and Development
We are looking for a Java developer with web framework experience who is a creative problem solver and is passionate about the web. You will work closely with Project Managers and Quality Assurance teams who are dedicated to developing quality products. We pride ourselves on using the latest technologies and providing our teams with the training and hardware necessary to meet the new technologies.
Our technologies include:
- Java, Javascript, Flex, Groovy and other languages
- Cloud Services, Tapestry, Hibernate and other frameworks
- Git, GitHub, Fogbugz, Hudson and other tools
- Digital imaging, video and other media
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and development of new functionality in current applications
- Maintenance and debugging of current applications.
- Proactively learn and utilize new technologies, concepts and procedures as appropriate to project requirements.
- Work with a cross functional team consisting Project Manager and Quality Assurance and other developers.
- Learn quickly and seek out information as needed.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Java
- Web Frameworks
- Database-driven applications
Experience with the following technologies:
- HTML
- Javascript
- SQL
