We’ve hosted a number of customer webinars in the first half of this year focusing on some key features and innovative customer stories with the Widen Media Collective. Among those, we’ve looked at the Widen API, analytics, and end user engagement programs.
Here’s a snapshot of the Widen digital asset management best practices webinars year-to-date and a link to access the recording for each event.
In our most recent webinar, we got up close and personal with the Widen API. We talked through some use cases and customer examples and provided some tips about what to look for in a developer.
The API for the Widen Media Collective exposes subsets of data and functions that you can control with other applications. For marketers, this means that if DAM alone doesn’t do something you would like it to, with some developer help, you can use the API to add additional DAM functions to other applications.
In the analytics webinar, we showed how to access analytic data and also how to run some common reports that offer valuable information about DAM usage.
Analytics data allows administrators to put more resources into producing more of the assets that are working and less of the assets that are consistently overlooked. This webinar highlights various tools available for accessing analytics data and provides ideas about the types of reports to run, the meaning of returned data, and how useful it can be for administrators.
In the “user engagement programs webinar” we examined what other customers have done to engage the user base at different points of the DAM lifecycle, including how to:
- Build, promote, and increase engagement amongst your core group of users for the initial roll out of your DAM.
- Rollout and promote to external users beyond the core and expand DAM to other groups that do not currently have access.
- Promote and provide more visibility to specific content within your DAM system.
- Engage users for feedback on ways to improve site structure and the content within.
