Funk Out Cancer 2015 a success

by ,

Thank you to everyone who supported Funk Out Cancer Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Majestic Theater in Madison, Wisconsin. The concert and silent auction were a huge success! We are still waiting for the final fundraising tally to come in from ticket sales, silent auction bids, and private donations. All proceeds go to the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center.

We would specifically like to thank Widen staff Al Falaschi, Libby Maurer, Heather Kleist. Without them, Funk Out Cancer wouldn’t happen.

A special thank you to Widen photographer Matt Anderson, who took incredible pics of the evening.

We’ll be posting soon when we have a fundraising total to share. In the meantime, check out some great pics from Funk Out Cancer 2015.

To hear the story behind Funk Out Cancer and how it has raised over $100,000 for the UW Carbone Cancer Center, see the blog post "Join us to Funk Out Cancer this Saturday, November 14."
