Last week, some of our team made a journey to Chicago for Henry Stewart's DAM Chicago conference. We got a chance to connect with others in the DAM industry, hear some DAM success stories from a number of organizations that shared their experiences, and even get a sense of the pain points and challenges being faced by others who are still looking for the right solution.
DAM software is an important tool, but everyone has at least slightly different needs. Still, there were some common themes running through the day's sessions. Among them were the need for C-level buy-in and user interfaces that are not only functional, but also fun.
In addition, a number of organizations touched on the hurdle of getting widespread user adoption. This might be the most important part of a digital asset management software implementation. After all, what good is a system that nobody uses?
We checked in with two of the Widen team members who went to the event — Nina Brakel-Schutt and Brenna Hale, both relatively new to Widen and the DAM inustry in general — for their reactions.
Get in touch if you'd like to talk to us about your specific DAM software needs and what we can do to help you meet them.
