New Training Opportunities Help Customers Learn by Doing

Learn more with a range of training options for the Widen Collective.

Our digital asset management (DAM) system, the Widen Collective®, supports a range of short- and long-term business goals. From improving brand consistency and cross-team collaboration to optimizing workflows and brand management practices, DAM is an essential part of any marketer’s toolkit.

Leveraging the full value of a DAM investment begins with effective and engaging user training. That’s why we have recently enhanced and expanded the learning opportunities available to every Widen customer. Through a collection of on-demand and live training options, Widen users of all abilities can advance their knowledge of the Collective to achieve business goals. 

Enhanced instruction

The updated curriculum across our training program empowers participants to apply their new knowledge and skills directly to their own Collective site. They are able to learn by doing because each experience is:

Interactive. Throughout the training program there are hands-on activities to practice using tools and functionality.  

Flexible. Whether you are a new user or an experienced admin, there are resources to advance your use of the Collective.  

Safe. By delivering instruction in our training site, participants are able to experiment with functionality and practice skills without altering their own site configurations.

Expanded learning opportunities

From pre-implementation through site-maintenance, there are training resources to help any user improve their understanding of DAM functionality and strategy. 

On-demand training 
Our online training center, Widen University, provides access to self-guided learning modules. These resources explain Collective functionality and features, as well as concepts that help participants connect DAM strategies to their larger brand management goals. 

Live training 
Widen University Live is a range of virtual, instructor-led training opportunities that focus on the learning needs of specific user groups, including general users, contributors, and administrators. There are also programs around key functionality, like building portals. These sessions are offered to all customers in a group setting.

And the Widen Essentials workshop series is a six-part series that gives participants an in-depth understanding of the foundational concepts of digital asset management. It’s also an opportunity to build a support network of DAM peers. Admission for one person is included with every Collective implementation.

Individual customer training
Customers interested in instructor-led training for just their team can do so for a fee. This includes in-person or live-virtual options. 

All of these opportunities are offered on an ongoing basis to accommodate a wide range of schedules and learning preferences. They can be used as part of an onboarding program for new hires, to test-drive an app, expand the use of the Collective across new teams, and more!
