The Widen Storytelling Contest has come to a close, and we had a wonderful variety of stories created by our customers about assets in their Widen Media Collective sites. We are excited to share with you the winning entries from Maryville University and Clear Channel Outdoor.
The Media Collective houses the visual stories of brands of all shapes and sizes, but it’s not immediately clear how a DAM system brings focus to that story. That is why we hosted this storytelling contest – to help you look at your digital assets differently and make them more powerful and available to your users.
In storytelling option one, we asked you to creatively generate keywords and metadata for an asset and make a story out of those words. With storytelling option two, we asked you to think about curating and grouping assets from a different perspective, choosing your favorite asset, telling why it was created, why it is your favorite, and why/how it is used. Focusing on these different aspects gave new meaning to these powerful pieces in your DAM system.
There is power in the assets of your DAM system, and leveraging the power of your assets by creating content around them, like stories, creates higher engagement, greater purpose and deeper meaning to your brand.
Congratulations to our contest winners and thank you to all participants! We truly enjoyed learning more about our customers throughout this contest.
