The 2015 Widen Summit, October 19-21 in Madison, WI promises Widen customers A Collective Experience in a peer-to-peer collaborative format. The summit annually sets the stage for us to share, bring forward new ideas, captivate, learn, teach and so much more! Everyone always returns home with useful information to help them build their businesses and provide tools to give their content and creative workflow a boost!
The spirit behind the summit is to thank our amazing customers and users for their business and to learn from them so that we can continue to evolve and provide the best services possible. We are proud to offer this FREE and beneficial event for Widen customers, and honestly, I can’t think of a better reason to get together as a group.
We hope you can join us at the next one for some unique and FUN activities, good food and drink, great conversation and a valuable set of breakout sessions, focusing on everything from the technical to the creative. So plan to engage in networking and learning, while taking advantage of many growth opportunities with all our Widen customers, across roles, industries, and experience levels.
This year’s theme is, “A Shared, Contagious, Forward Thinking, Captivating, Teaching, Learning, ________ (you fill in the blank) Collective Experience.” The theme started small, but as we talked more and more about it, we kept adding to it. Each adjective embraces one of the many sides our clients and their digital asset management story. So, those that have been to summit before, how would you fill in the blank?
We are excited to announce our keynote speaker, Jonah Berger, a marketing professor from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and author of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller, "Contagious: Why Things Catch On." Dr. Berger has spent over fifteen years studying how social influence works and how it drives products and ideas to become popular. He’s published dozens of articles in top-tier academic journals, and consulted for a variety of Fortune 500 companies. Popular outlets like the New York Times and the Harvard Business Review often cover his work. We are so pleased to be able to hand out a copy of Jonah’s book at our upcoming Summit! Notably, the Wharton School is also a Widen customer!
Learning session topics being considered and planned for the 2015 Summit include:
- DAM 101

At the Widen Summit, we provide peer-based learning and networking opportunities and formal breakout sessions for customers to discuss, learn and strategize the best ways to build their DAM tools, teams and processes. We connect seasoned users with new ones, starting conversations within specific user groups while connecting users with ways to continue their growth and expansion within their DAM utilization.
Just as in year's past, the 2015 Widen Summit will take place in downtown, Madison at the Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club.
