We live in a content-driven world where we’re exposed to more content than we could ever possibly consume. As a result, we’ve become extremely selective, usually favoring visual content to the exclusion of everything else. That’s because when it’s done well, visual content captures our attention, engages our senses, and is quick and easy to digest. Text-based content, on the other hand, often just can’t compete.
