How Brunswick uses our digital asset management system to avoid branding gutterballs

Widen recently got a chance to sit down with Mike Krause, who is the production manager at Brunswick Bowling and Billiards. Brunswick's is a name practically synonymous with both of those sports, and we're proud to be able to say that the Widen Media Collective has been meeting Brunswick's digital asset management needs.
 

In this first of seven videos, Mike tells us a bit how Brunswick uses our hosted DAM software to support its marketing and communications workflows. As you'll see in this video, Brunswick has found that Collective enhances every aspect of its communications, from fulfillment of requests for digital assets to support for the process of translating marketing meterials for the international market.

 

Brunswick's a unique brand, but its marketing needs are a whole lot like those of many other organizations. They've got assets, and they need to make sure those assets get used appropriately.

How do you handle requests for digital assets (like images, PDFs, videos, etc.) from marketing partners? Would you have to drop everything for a significant amount of time if you got a call from a reporter who needed a picture of your product for use in a publication or blog? What safeguards do you have in place to ensure that your own people aren't using outdated images?
