Join us for a webinar introducing Widen’s integration with Adobe InDesign

by ,

We invite you to join us for a webinar introducing the new Widen Media Collective integration with Adobe InDesign on Wednesday, September 3rd @ 12:00 CST.

Adobe InDesign is the world’s most popular desktop publishing and design software application. For designers in charge of propelling their brand image forward, they spend a great deal of their waking work moments inside of its UI walls. For organizations that also employ a digital asset management system to protect and manage their branded digital media files, linking these two brand critical applications has, in the past, presented a number of challenges.

Prior to the Widen Media Collective integration, InDesign could only make asset links to the file system or a shared drive. Or you could resort to latency-plagued workarounds, which forced your designers to consistently perform file acrobatics to get everything to link up.

In this webinar, Widen will introduce you to our new integration with Adobe InDesign. Joining us will be Max Dunn, from Silicon Publishing, creator of the Silicon Connector plugin that makes the integration possible. Craig Bollig, Widen Senior Advisor, will be giving a live demonstration of the integration and will also discuss workflow specifics that will be of great interest to InDesign and DAM users.

With the integration, users simply drag and drop cloud-based assets into an InDesign document. Direct links to the asset are automatically created. When any asset is updated in DAM, the corresponding InDesign asset is also updated. Automatically.

Widen Digital Asset Management InDesign Plugin

With the InDesign plugin, designers simply drag images from Widen Media Collective directly into layouts and the link is maintained with the Widen DAM solution.

At a glance, the topics for the webinar will be:

  • Drag and drop image assets from Media Collective into InDesign
  • Linking files so there is a direct association between Widen DAM and InDesign
  • Option for high or low resolution workflow
  • Automatic packaging of linked files
  • Easy image access
  • Save time switching between two applications
  • Utilize high res or low res viewing

For our creative users of DAM, this is a webinar that you won’t want to miss!

Register to join us for the webinar as we show our new InDesign plugin on Wednesday, September 3rd @ 12:00 CST.
