Privacy and security aren’t mutually exclusive from scalability and access. Digital asset management (DAM) SaaS gives you all of that. When we selected Amazon Web Services in 2007 as the cornerstone of the Widen Collective, it was because we knew how important privacy, security, scalability, and access are to the modern brand.
We’re committed to keeping your data secure now and in the future. We invest in our technologies, architecture, and personnel to keep your information secure. We do what we say we will. Just ask our 500+ customers.
People access visual content (digital assets) from the Widen Collective from 158+ countries. With Amazon’s global infrastructure, you’re able to upload and download content quickly, reliably, and securely.
Give your teams access to your DAM system from wherever they get things done. All your people need is the proper permissions and a device with a modern browser that has access to the internet.
Your data is always encrypted, preventing unauthorized access.
We have architected the Collective in Amazon to scale for users, storage, and utilization as more and more teams want to use Collective across the globe.
Your data has immense value. That’s why we’re constantly monitoring, measuring, and enhancing cloud services.
Storage: Your files will be stored in Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), the same massively scalable platform used by Netflix, Airbnb, and Nasdaq. It’s designed to deliver 99.999999999% durability.
Privacy: Your data is stored with Amazon within Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). The application is available over HTTPS and data is always encrypted in Amazon S3 using AES-256.
Security compliance: Widen follows the ISO 27001 Information Security Management Protocol and aligns with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework. Amazon’s commitment to customer data
Redundancy: Your data is redundantly stored and synchronized within multiple geographically separate data centers in two Amazon S3 Regions, the US-East and the US-West Regions. European customers may opt for European data storage, processing, and backups in EU West and EU Central regions.
Third-party validation: We employ a third party to run continuous assessments of our Collective environment, checking for all known vulnerabilities based on the WASC Threat Classification and OWASP Top 10 standards.
Annual third-party penetration tests: We engage a third party to perform penetration tests against our Collective environment in Amazon and against the entire Widen headquarters infrastructure.
User audit trails: Audit the details of user activity within your DAM system and asset usage through Widen Reports and Insights leveraging Amazon CloudWatch and Kinesis.
Speed: Our teams are constantly monitoring site speed to ensure your teams are experiencing the best performance possible. Amazon CloudWatch is used to collect and monitor log files, set alarms, and automatically react to changes in your DAM software.
Delivery outside the Collective: Amazon CloudFront, a Content Delivery Network (CDN), accelerates delivery to websites, APIs, video content and other web assets through CDN caching.
Cost efficiencies: In addition to Amazon S3’s competitive storage cost, we use auto-scaling services, like Amazon Lambda and Amazon RDS to improve cost efficiencies for you. Pricing plans are available with S3 storage costs as low as 2¢ per GB/month including Glacier backup in a separate Amazon Region.
Unlimited bandwidth: There are no bandwidth or transfer volume limits, which is critical when handling thousands — or hundreds of thousands — of assets!
